The article examines the influence of cultural norms on the formation of linguistic personality among English speakers. Special attention is paid to how social and cultural values are reflected in speech practices, communication styles, word choice, and interaction strategies. The cognitive, communicative, emotional, and socio-cultural components of linguistic personality are analyzed, highlighting the role of cultural norms in shaping their functioning. The study also explores politeness conventions, formality, euphemisms, fixed expressions, gendered features of speech, and interpersonal communication habits characteristic of British and American English.
