Annotatsiya

This article examines the poetic synthesis of Japanese and English artistic traditions in twentieth- and twenty-first-century British literature based on the novels of Kazuo Ishiguro and William Golding. The study analyzes image creation techniques, psychological representation, and the expression of national mentality through a comparative-typological approach. Particular attention is given to memory and inner experience in Ishiguro’s works, as well as symbolism and mythopoetic thinking in Golding’s novels.
