This article studies the impact of the use of natural resources in the regions on the economic and ecological development of the region based on theoretical sources. The types of natural resources in the region, the features of their use, the role of natur al resources in the development of the region, and the methodological aspects of the rational use of resources are covered. Recommendations are also developed to improve the use of natural resources in the region.
