In this article, information on rituals related to the birth and upbringing of children in the traditional way of life of Uzbeks living in the territory of the Khorezm oasis was analyzed based on written sources, scientific literature and field materials. In addition, the author has researched the role of wedding ceremonies in the traditional life of Uzbeks and the institution of counseling at home for young brides and grooms in the globalization processes taking place in the world today.
