This article presents the results of studying the effect of different planting schemes on onion yield under intercropping conditions. The experiments were conducted during 2021-2023, and the influence of row spacing and plant spacing on total and marketable yield was evaluated. The results showed that the planting scheme of (40+15+15)/3 × 7.5 cm provided the highest average total yield of 47.3 t/ha and marketable yield of 43.2 t/ha. The highest share of marketable yield relative to total yield was recorded in the (50+20)/2 × 10 cm treatment, reaching 93.5%. The findings indicate that selecting an optimal planting scheme is essential for obtaining high and marketable onion yields under intercropping conditions.
