Based on the theory of concept and conceptosphere presented in Sh. Safarov’s “Cognitive Linguistics” (2006), the article analyzes the cognitive-frame structure of the “sabr” (patience) concept in Uzbek motivational discourse. Authentic citations from Tohir Malik’s “Odamiylik mulki” (2022) and the novel “Shaytanat” serve as the empirical material. The analysis identifies the nuclear, peripheral, and interpretive parts of the “sabr” concept, characterizes the cognitive construction expressed through the NAFS-SABR-ZULM chain, and distinguishes five structural components of the frame.
