This article analyzes the linguopsychological, didactic, and methodological principles of teaching English to primary school students and examines their distinctive characteristics. Particular attention is paid to the role of these principles in enhancing young learners’ speech activity, expanding their vocabulary, and developing their ability to communicate freely and effectively in English.
