The article discusses the hero's image and its artistic interpretation in T. Jumamuratov's epic poetry. In the poet's epic poems, the emergence of the hero's image, its ideological and artistic qualities, and national character are illuminated. At the same time, the role of the hero's image in revealing the ideals of the people, its significance in reflecting such qualities as heroism, patriotism, and humanity, is scientifically analyzed. In Karakalpak epic poetry, the hero's image is portrayed in connection with the people's historical experience, spiritual values, and social worldview.
