This article examines the formation, structure and significance of the decimal military system in the armed forces of the Turkic Khaganate. The study analyzes the specific features of military organization in ancient Turkic states and the role of the decimal system in ensuring combat readiness, mobilization and military discipline. The influence of this system on later Turkic states, the Mongol Empire and the military administration of Amir Temur is also discussed. The findings demonstrate that the decimal system was one of the key factors behind the military strength of the Turkic Khaganate.
