A detailed analysis of the concept of “foreign language communicative ability” and an analysis of the correlation of the concepts under consideration in psychology and competence-oriented pedagogy, as well as the merging of these methodological planes in the interdisciplinary problem field of the linguo-educational process with the identification of specific didactic and methodological opportunities and difficulties in the development of the considered abilities in the complex constitute the novelty of this work.
