This article analyzes the process of studying phraseological units in English linguistics, their linguistic features, and their role in the language system, and substantiates the organic connection of phraseological units with national culture, thinking, and the communicative process. The results of this research are of great importance in the fields of English language teaching, translation studies, and linguoculturology.
