The role of cultural and diplomatic events in the cultural and humanitarian cooperation of Kazakhstan with the countries of Central Asia is analyzed historically. The role and significance of various forms of cultural events - friendship festivals, “culture days”, “cinema days” and music festivals - in the development of cultural and humanitarian cooperation of the Republic of Kazakhstan with neighboring countries are highlighted.
