This article examines the peculiarities of the use of terms related to the Karakalpak dwelling in phraseological expressions of the Karakalpak language. Stable expressions containing such components as “esik” and “ergenek” are analyzed from a linguocultural perspective, revealing their connection with the people’s national worldview, traditional lifestyle, and spiritual values. The ethnocultural content and figurative function of phraseological units are scientifically explained.
