This article discusses the primary difficulties faced in teaching English in Karakalpak schools, with a focus on linguistic and phonetic challenges. It explores interference, transfer, and the impact of bilingual and trilingual environments on students’ speech behavior. The phonological and morphological aspects of both Karakalpak and English languages are analyzed to identify patterns that hinder or facilitate language acquisition, particularly in pronunciation and word stress.
