This article provides a scientific-theoretical analysis of extralinguistic factors and the influence of bilingualism encountered by students in Karakalpak schools during the process of learning English. It highlights the main phonetic, morphological, and syntactic errors observed in the acquisition of English phonetics and morphology. The article discusses the impact of the native language in the foreign language learning process, instances of interference among bilingual students, and ways to address them. Based on the findings, the study substantiates the need to optimize pedagogical conditions—taking into account the differences between language systems—and to apply innovative approaches for successful foreign language instruction.
