The article examines the linguistic and cultural features of anthropological phraseological units that reflect human traits, behavior, and social relationships. The aim of the study is to identify the structural, semantic, and culturally conditioned peculiarities of these units, as well as their role in conveying national and cultural stereotypes. The methods applied include componential, comparative-cultural, and contextual analysis. The findings show that anthropological idioms serve not only a nominative but also a cognitive and cultural function, preserving cultural codes and mental images within the English language.
