This article explores the pedagogical foundations of using gamification technologies in teaching English in secondary education. It examines the stages of integrating game elements into lessons, methodological principles, and the mechanisms that enhance student motivation. The paper also highlights how gamified learning contributes to increasing student engagement, developing communicative competence, and fostering a positive attitude toward learning English. The findings reveal that gamification significantly improves students’ intrinsic motivation and enhances the overall effectiveness of the learning process.
