This article investigates the linguocultural characteristics of the antonymous concepts "honesty" and "theft" in English and Uzbek languages. In both languages, these concepts are widely employed as criteria defining human morality and social values. The article presents a comparative analysis of the synonymous series, semantic fields, and antonymic relationships of these concepts, as well as their usage in literary, journalistic, and oral discourse. Additionally, their etymological roots and representation in folklore are examined. The research findings illuminate the similarities and national-cultural distinctions of these antonymous concepts within the cultural linguistic landscape of English and Uzbek.
