The article analyzes the relationship between language and gender stereotypes. It has been established that linguistic expressions play a crucial role in the formation and reinforcement of gender norms in society. The paper examines theoretical approaches to the study of gender stereotypes and provides key definitions of this concept. The mechanisms of gender stereotype formation in a sociocultural context are explored. The study demonstrates that language serves not only as a tool for preserving stereotypes but also as a means of overcoming them. The influence of linguistic expressions and grammatical constructions on the representation of gender roles in society is analyzed. A comparative analysis of Uzbek and German languages illustrates how gender roles are reflected in linguistic structures. Characteristic features are identified, and their causal relationships are traced.
