The article discusses topical aspects of reforming the education system in Uzbekistan in the context of the Uzbekistan 2030 Strategy. The main focus is on the quality of training of specialists and the need to introduce innovative educational programs aimed at developing individual abilities of students. The role of professional competence of teachers, especially teachers of the Russian language, as a key factor in improving the quality of education is being investigated. Approaches to the professional growth of teachers, their methodological skills and the importance of self-development are discussed. Research on the impact of teaching excellence on student success and communication skills is mentioned. In conclusion, the need to create a system for training qualified personnel capable of adapting to the requirements of the modern labor market and contributing to the social development of the country is emphasized, which makes the issue of improving educational practices and increasing the level of professionalism of teachers urgent.
