In this article, we analyze the concept of "labor" in the Uzbek and German languages, studying how they are reflected in proverbs and sayings. Expressions about labor in both languages are analyzed comparatively from a cultural, social, and spiritual perspective. We also analyze the relationship between language and culture, and traditional and modern views on labor.
