The research focuses on phraseological units expressing the consept "fear" used in S. Ayniy's works "Death of the Usurer" and "Old School." The study examines the linguocultural characteristics of these units and their translations from Tajik into Uzbek and English, illustrated with specific examples. The article investigates the semantic features of the selected phraseological units using methods such as descriptive, comparative, and component analysis.
