This article is devoted to analyzing the importance and methods of developing the speech capabilities of primary school students during reading classes. Increasing the wealth of speech culture and vocabulary determines the success of students not only in education, but also in everyday life. In the process of teaching, ways of developing students ' communication skills are shown using creative methods, interactive approaches and technologies.
