This article examines the processes of introduction and development of the science of Tafsir in Mawarannahr, emphasizing the necessity of interpreting the Quran from beginning to end. This need arises from the fact that various schools often distort and dispute ayahs, interpreting them in accordance with their own beliefs and perspectives on specific parts of the Quran. Although translations of the meanings of the Quran into modern Uzbek continue to appear to this day, the article highlights in detail that the history of Quranic interpretation and translation into Turkic languages spans almost a thousand years.
