This article presents an analysis of neologisms in English, highlighting their importance for the study of linguistic change. Neologisms, defined as new words or existing words taking on new meanings, reflect the dynamic nature of language and often appear in response to social, cultural, technological and scientific transformations. The article examines the processes of the emergence of new words, methods of their formation and mechanisms of integration into modern English. Particular attention is paid to the role of neologisms in the media, the Internet, literature and other areas of culture. The semantic, syntactic and pragmatic aspects of new formations are also analyzed, emphasizing their significance in the evolution of language.
