This article analyzes various literary translation methods that consider ways of transmitting literary texts from one language to another. The main attention is paid to such translation strategies as literal, free and adaptive. The study highlights the importance of choosing an appropriate translation method to preserve the stylistic and cultural characteristics of the original work. The analysis shows how these techniques affect the accuracy and depth of the translation, ensuring an adequate and complete transfer of the content and form of the source text in the target language.
