The article comprehensively analyzes the system of training personnel for the internal affairs bodies of the Republic of Uzbekistan during the years of independence. The analysis covers the history of personnel training in the internal affairs bodies, the stages of its development, priority areas of state policy, and effective mechanisms for personnel training. The importance of educational and pedagogical approaches in personnel training is emphasized, and their scientific and methodological foundations, modern curricula, and innovative technologies used in educational institutions are examined in detail.
