The author of this article demonstrates the classification of paroemias related to the topic of hospitality, developed to systematize the data of the studied units, and provides material for an in-depth analysis of cultural, social, and psychological aspects of hospitality. When developing this classification, the author directed his efforts to ensure that its structure was organized both hierarchically and thematically. This classification of proverbs about hospitality in English and Russian was developed by identifying five key thematic blocks that reflect the main stages of hospitality.
