This article analyzes the use of personal deixis in scientific texts on agriculture in English and Uzbek. First, the opinions of linguists on the phenomenon of deixis, in particular personal deixis, are presented, and then materials and methods of research are given. The results of the study and their discussion highlight the role and functions of the use of personal deixis in a scientific text. In the conclusion , the results obtained from the study and the opinions of scientists are summarized in the form of a general conclusion.
