This article discusses the design of a laboratory device for determining the photoactive spectral range of photovoltaic elements. The proposed device makes it possible to evaluate the efficiency of electrical energy generation by photovoltaic elements under solar radiation of different wavelengths. The proposed optical system consists of a light source, a collimator lens, a diffraction grating, a focusing lens, and an output slit. Using this device, the spectral response of photovoltaic elements can be determined and the photoactive spectral range in which they exhibit maximum efficiency can be evaluated.
