This article examines an adaptive methodological model for teaching programming to future engineers using artificial intelligence technologies. It substantiates the need to personalize the educational process based on students' level of preparation and individual characteristics. The model's structure and the mechanism for adapting educational content based on the analysis of educational data are described. The results of a pedagogical experiment are presented, confirming improved development of professional competencies and algorithmic thinking in students.
