Mathematical formulation of the atmospheric diffusion problem and numerical solution algorithms

The paper presents a mathematical model of advection-diffusion processes describing the dispersion of harmful substances in the atmosphere. The determination of turbulence coefficients based on Taylor's theory, emission sources, and wet deposition processes are analyzed. First-order Upwind and third-order QUICK numerical schemes are applied to solve the problem. The stability of the model is justified based on the CFL criterion, and the numerical realization of boundary conditions is described. The research results serve as a basis for high-precision calculations in predicting atmospheric pollution.
