Annotation. The article, based on a systematic analysis of a complex chemical-technological system (masut rectification device), identifies factors that ensure the reduction of pressure in the rectification column to 40 mm Hg and below. A mathematical model of a liquid-cycle vacuum pump has been developed and implemented in a ChemCad medium, allowing for the consideration of the influence of structural, hydrodynamic, and thermodynamic factors on the pump characteristics. The patterns of interaction between high-level elements of the fuel rectification device (vacuum generating systems, pipelines) have been determined, and directions for reducing the energy consumption of the system have been determined.
