In this scientific work, the concept, legal basis, and practical significance of the participation of prosecutor's offices in the legislative process are analyzed. The significance of the proposals and legal opinions submitted by the prosecutor's office in the process of preparing and adopting draft laws, their role in improving legislation, is revealed. Also, based on international experience, mechanisms related to the participation of prosecutor's offices in lawmaking were studied, and proposals and recommendations were developed to increase the effectiveness of these bodies in the practice of Uzbekistan.
