This article analyzes the importance of internal (compliance) control in shaping anti-corruption behavior among law enforcement officers. It examines the socio-psychological and institutional factors of corruption, the mechanisms of its formation, and measures for its prevention. Based on the research findings, effective mechanisms for combating corruption in law enforcement agencies are proposed.
