This article examines the essence of modern textbooks, their role in the educationsystem, and the concept of creative work from a scientific and pedagogical perspective. It alsoanalyzes the educational reforms implemented in the Republic of Uzbekistan, the distinctivefeatures of new-generation textbooks, the 4C model, the introduction of Informatics in primaryeducation, and provides a comparative analysis of the Grade 4 Mother Tongue textbookspublished in 2017 and 2023
