This article provides a systematic analysis of modern concepts for the effectivemanagement of higher education institutions. In particular, it examines the role of strategicmanagement in long-term development, the importance of indicative management mechanisms incoordinating the educational process, and the role of quality management systems in improving thequality of educational services, all based on scientific approaches. The article also analyzesinnovation-driven development and digital transformation processes, as well as their impact on thehigher education system.In addition, the integration of pedagogical approaches—specifically competency-based,student-centered, and interactive teaching methods—with the management system is explored. Theresearch findings indicate that effective management of higher education institutions can be achievedonly through the integration of strategic planning, indicative management, pedagogical management,quality management systems, and innovative pedagogical approaches.
