This article is devoted to the analysis of methodological approaches to increasing the efficiency of the credit-module system of training in higher education. The study considers the basic principles of the system, methods for optimizing the educational process and developing individual approaches to students. The credit-module system allows students to study freely and independently, but methodological and systematic approaches are required for its effective functioning. The article, in particular, shows the advantages that the credit-module system provides to students, the methods necessary for its improvement, and the importance of this system in the educational process. Based on the analysis, it is emphasized that pedagogical, psychological, and technological approaches are needed for the effective functioning of the system.
