The article is devoted to the issues of the authority of the institution establishedin order to implement the policy of the Russian Empire in the territory of the Emirate of Bukharain political, economic and social areas. The study was conducted on the basis of an analysis of thedocuments of this organization available in the National Archives of Uzbekistan. Informationrelated to the powers of a political agency allows for a deeper understanding and understandingof the field of activity of this institution.
