The 360-degree performance review process has received enormous popularity in the world due to the benefits of creating a culture of continuous learning and development. This article explores its influence on attitudes, effectiveness, and performance of workers, advantages, and disadvantages. Confusion surrounds the approach, with it providing a holistic assessment of the employee capabilities as multiple sites of observations can be included, yet the paper discusses drawbacks, including feedback delivery, bias, and the need for reducing the emotional ramifications for the employee. The study also identifies theoretical frameworks that underpin this process, alongside insights into stages of behavior change that feedback supports. The paper finds that for the 360-degree feedback process to achieve maximum effectiveness in developing an organization, it must be made more reliable and valid.
