This article analyzes the role of information technologies in the higher education system. The theoretical and practical aspects of the electronic educational environment, LMS platforms, digital monitoring, and educational data analysis are examined. The importance of digital technologies in improving the quality of education, automating management, and organizing an effective educational process is substantiated. Special attention is paid to the digital transformation of higher education and the implementation of modern information systems in university activities.
