The article discusses the issues of increasing the effectiveness of technical trainingof hammer throwers at the stage of sports improvement. The main elements of the hammer throwtechnique, modern methods of training athletes, factors of improving technical skills, as well asthe importance of special means used in the training process are highlighted. According to thestudy results, individualization of technical training and its organization based on biomechanicalanalysis contribute to a significant improvement in sports performance
