This article examines the role of the newspaper "Bukhara Truth" in patriotic propaganda during the early period of the Second World War. Based on primary sources from the "Bukhara Truth" newspaper, the study covers such topics as public rallies, women's labor activity, material contributions to the defense fund, and patriotic slogans. The article also briefly reviews the Molotov–Ribbentrop Pact and its impact on the USSR's preparation for the war. The findings demonstrate the newspaper's significant ideological role in mobilizing the population.
