The article analyzes the formation of railway infrastructure in the Bukhara Emirate in the late nineteenth and early twentieth centuries and its impact on local economy, trade relations, raw material markets and regional integration. The study examines the Trans-Caspian railway, the Chardzhui-Samarkand section, the New Bukhara-Old Bukhara branch, and the KaganKarshi-Kitab and Termez lines. The railway is interpreted not merely as a technical innovation, but as a historical factor that reorganized the economic space of the emirate.
