The article covers the topic "Scientific-theoretical foundations of professional competence development of elementary school teachers". The research analyzes scientific-theoretical approaches aimed at improving the professional competence of primary school teachers and identifies important factors in the development process. The article discusses the definitions of the concept of competence, the main methods and strategies of increasing the role of primary school teachers in professional training, as well as the effectiveness of pedagogical methods. The results of the research include recommendations for solving existing problems in the educational system and professional development of teachers.
