The article discusses the violent transformations in the cultural life of Uzbekistan following the establishment of Soviet power. It analyzes the successes achieved through the hard work of representatives of the Uzbek artistic intelligentsia. Additionally, the article highlights the persecution of cultural workers by the Soviet authorities and the losses of talented individuals from the Uzbek community as a result of these actions.
