The article analyzes the legal framework for the information transparency of the Schools of Representatives of the Youth Parliament established under the Kengashes of People's Deputies. It also examines law enforcement practices and the findings of scientific research in this area. The existing regulatory framework reveals certain shortcomings, such as the absence of specific indicators for the information openness of the Schools in the Criteria for Assessing the Effectiveness of Public Councils under State Bodies, as well as an unclear procedure for ensuring such openness in their Model Regulations. Based on the analysis of academic literature, specific measures are proposed to address these shortcomings. These include ensuring the opportunity for information users to attend School meetings and promoting the active use of social media to inform young people. The study justifies the need to create a mechanism for ensuring the transparency of the Schools, similar to those in government agencies. This mechanism should include defining the list of information about the Schools’ activities that must be published on their web pages, organizing the processing of information requests, and implementing additional methods for information disclosure.
