This article examines the formation of a new electoral system in Uzbekistan and its significance for democratic reforms. Special attention is given to the historical context, key stages, and mechanisms of the changes introduced to ensure the openness, transparency, and fairness of elections. The author analyzes how the new electoral system contributes to the strengthening of democratic institutions, increased citizen engagement, and public participation in political processes. The article discusses the main principles aimed at enhancing the quality of elections, as well as measures to protect voters' rights. It is noted that an effective electoral system forms the foundation for the stable and sustainable development of democracy in Uzbekistan. In conclusion, it is emphasized that continuing reforms in this area is essential to achieving deeper democratic changes and increasing citizens' trust in state institutions.
