The article examines the issue of increasing social responsibility and accountability of personnel in the field of civil service as an important factor in contemporary administrative reforms. It also explores the special place and role of the civil service in societal development and state formation, supported by scientific analysis. Additionally, the article discusses methodological approaches and key trends in enhancing the social responsibility of public servants, along with increasing the political consciousness and culture of civil service personnel in the new Uzbekistan. These discussions are supported by empirical data related to accountability in the field.
