In this article, the issues related to the socio-pedagogical necessity of improving the educational process for future music education teachers to foster students' axiological attitudes toward the national musical heritage have been scientifically analyzed. Additionally, the article examines communicative competence in future music education teachers, the development of their professional competence, and the unity of the three interrelated components of communication: communicative, interactive, and perceptive. The article also explores professional communicative competence, communicative self-improvement, and the educational activities within higher pedagogical education.
